Students in Ms. Day's Intro to Cybersecurity class got hands-on experience comparing common computer operating systems thanks to Cyber.org and their partnership with CISA (Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency). With access to virtual machines through Cyber.org, students explored operating systems beyond those installed on their physical computers. Some worked inside a Windows virtual machine, while others experimented with both text-based and GUI (Graphical User Interface) operations on different systems. This interactive approach gave them a deeper understanding of how various operating systems function in real-world scenarios!
