Senior Henry Gebhart chose to write a marketing and business letter to Hibbetts Sports for Mrs. Dawson's Marketing Management class. The store's Retail and Marketing teams came and spoke to his class and also presented Henry with a $200 gift card plus all kinds of promotional materials including a personalized graduation cake. The marketing team gave a wonderful presentation telling students about the importance of marketing and social media in the workplace today. Mrs. Dawson's Marketing Management class wrote letters to companies of their choice. In these letters, students talked about different products and marketing tools that the company used that made the students love their company and products. Students asked different marketing questions and asked the companies specific marketing questions in hopes of receiving a reply back. Environmental Science students recognized Earth Day on Friday. They collected trash from around campus; focusing on plastic materials because it takes anywhere from 20-500 years for plastic to decompose! Here are some photos of our students making us BTTY! #4theT
Through a total team-effort on Saturday, 250 Tift County student athletes were able to get their Sports Physicals squared away for the 2023-2024 school year. It takes a village to pull off an event like this, but we can not go without acknowledging the efforts of our many volunteers, ranging from Southwell Health System providers and staff, to TCHS Sports Medicine Program students. Next, we owe it to our community partners at Georgia Sports Medicine for hosting us for the morning! Finally, we would like to thank GSM Practice Manager Laquesha Smith, who took the lead in planning, and without whom Saturday would not have been such a success! #BTTY #4theT
