On Thursday, August 25 FCCLA officers from across the state travelled to Camp John Hope in Fort Valley for DISCOVER training. This training focuses on chapter officers and included workshops on budgeting, planning and running meetings, fundraising, event planning, and more. Jocelyn Alanis, Emily Richards, and Haley Brannen represented the TCHS chapter of FCCLA and are now ready to serve on the officer team for the 2022-2023 school year.

All Tift County Schools and offices will be closed Monday, September 5th for Labor Day. Tuesday, September 6th is a teacher work day and student holiday. #4theT

Students in Ms. Adamson and Mrs. William's World Literature classes have been preparing to read an Ancient Greek play by studying nonfiction texts about Greek Theater and a fiction text about an Ancient Greek play. Today, students used both the fiction story and nonfiction information to synthesize their knowledge to create their own Ancient Greek theaters along with characters mentioned in the fiction text. #BTTY #4theT
