Tift County Schools is privileged to have an outstanding Pre-K program led by dedicated teachers and administrators who give our youngest learners a strong start!

Students who attend Georgia’s Pre-K program enter Kindergarten more prepared than their peers who did not attend any Pre-K program.

She visited Matt Wilson Elementary and Len Lastinger Elementary, where she read to our Pre-K students and shared in the joy of early learning. Joining her for the visits were Pre-K Program Specialists BJ Sutton and Latricia Hall from the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.
A key strength of Georgia’s Pre-K program is helping children build strong foundational literacy skills. Families can support this at home too — simply by reading together every day!
