Ms. Schwartz's class enjoyed their field trip to the Bowling Alley yesterday.
Ms. Kelley’s 4th grade class created Dirt Cups to represent soil layers, including subsoil, topsoil, seeds and decomposers. They enjoyed their tasty treat once all the layers were completed.
All parents of students who participate in the Migrant Education Program for Tift County Schools are invited to attend a parent meeting on November 8th at 5:30pm at the Administrative Office. During the meeting, parents will learn more about the Migrant Education Program, meet the staff serving students in this program, and be given the opportunity to provide feedback. The information shared during the meeting will be in Spanish or translated into Spanish during the meeting. Light refreshments will also be provided. #4theT

All MWE staff and students participated in an evacuation drill on Thursday, October 26, 2023. This was just a drill for our staff and students to practice and be prepared. The safety and security of staff and students is of the utmost importance
Ms. Locke's class had fun measuring Halloween pictures in the hallway. They are learning about inches in their math class.
Mrs. Amber and Mrs. Elisa's class had fun making Witches brew; It consisted of Monster scabs, Witch's warts, Ghost poop, Witch's fingernails, and Pumpkin teeth. They had fun graphing it to see which had the most and which had the least before enjoying eating their creation.
The Schwartz class had a fun class experiment where they measured gummy worms on the rulers they made. Overall, it was a great hands-on learning experience for the students to apply their math skills in a fun and creative way.
"Our futures are so BRIGHT without drugs!: Ms. Schwartz's Class Celebrates Red Ribbon Week in Style!" The students are all wearing sunglasses, as they take a stand against drug and substance abuse. Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign that aims to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promote healthy choices. It is heartening to see young students take part in such events, as they learn important lessons about responsibility and making informed decisions.
Picture Retakes will be on Tuesday, October 31st for those students who were absent on picture day.
